“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:14-17)

These verses give three ingredients in Christian development. In verse 15, the teaching Timothy received in childhood suggests many years of instruction. Christian development requires much instruction and study. A term at Bible School is designed to aid your parents and church leaders in the teaching program of your spiritual development.

The second ingredient is the Scriptures. It is the instruction of God’s Word that will best aid a person to spiritual maturity. We believe that all Scripture is given for our development, and it serves as the criteria for all of our instruction here at Bible School.

The third ingredient for spiritual development is obedience to revealed truth. Verse 14 contrasts the apostates in verse 13 to the faithful children continuing in the knowledge they possess. It is our desire to inspire obedience to God through our Bible School efforts.

We give you a hearty invitation to make a firsthand observation of the blessings students receive as they spend time together around the Word and in fellowship together.

As a Bible School Board, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our Bible School. It is our desire that your experience with us will prove to be a rich blessing to you. If we can be of any assistance, we welcome your call at any time.

Sincerely,

The Pilgrim Bible School Board
